Education Scholarships

Bill O'Connell went on the 2012 trip and met so many kids who should have been in school.  The children wanted to be in school but could not afford just basic fees or a uniform.  He began to sponsor 22 children.  Bill went to be with the Lord in 2018, but his legacy of helping others continues on with the Papa Bill Education Fund.  

Pearl Haven began sponsoring Showtime Ministries School after our trip to Gulu in 2017.  The school has 40 children, of whom 31 are refugee orphans.  King's Primary is a small school in a rural area outside of Mbale that needs our help.  Without outside support, the school will fold and the children in this area will not have access to any education opportunities.
